This page features some of the wonderful people I have enjoyed time with. You will notice a diversity. Joan Leslie is one of my favorite actresses and it was a joy to have her help on my Sunkissed book. I am working on a book about B-17 bomber operations in Europe. The Eighth Air Force bomber vets have been wonderful to interview, as well as some German fighter pilots I have befriended whose job it was to shoot our bombers down. Walter Shuck was Germany's number. 13 Ace and was one of the world's first jet aces. Gunther Rall is Germany's number 3 Ace. He had 275 victories during the war. I still can't believe that I spent an afternoon with Chuck Yeager talking about aircraft characteristics.

Fayard Nicholas, of the famous Nicolas Brothers dancing team, is one of the nicest guys one can ever meet- a credit to the human race. Meeting Tex Beneke and dancing to Les Brown and his Orchestra, at the Palladium, is a thrill I'll never forget

One of my fondest encounters was spending a day with Ginger Rogers at her Rancho Mirage home. Frances Dee came over and Joy Hodges, long time actress friends from the thirties, and we all watched "The Gay Divorcee". Watching her and Fred Astaire on her Big screen and seeing her lovely Oscar, for Kitty Foyle, displayed next to it was a dream come true. It was the day before Valentines Day and she kept throwing candies to me from across the room while we watched. AHHHHH the memories keep flowing I could go on forever. Here is a small sampling of some wonderful memories.
